This is an antique turner’s armchair. An English, oak John Starkey 'Warwick' style elbow seat, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1895. A fascinating example inspired by the celebrated ‘Old Saxon’ form, offering great presence and distinctive craftsmanship.
