With a beautifully proportioned back and swept arms, finely carved throughout with fluting and classical detail. The frame retains a soft, timeworn painted finish with attractive patina, raised on turned and reeded legs. Circa 1790.
An elegant, generously scaled piece with superb line and carving — ideal for a hallway, drawing room or at the foot of a bed.
