Item Description
A particularly pretty mirror of compact size. The frame is composed of carved wood, with a thick gesso coating which has then been water gilded, and made to represent branch stems, vine leaves and rose flowerheads. Incredibly intricate and delicate, hence it has had some breaks and losses over its lifetime. Nonethless this is a highly decorative piece that would make a statement in any room.
