Item Description

A neat cherry wood folding top writing desk with six drawers by Italian designer-architect Antonio Citterio (b.1950) for B&B Italia. Circa 1990.

The desk having six finger-grip drawers and standing on octagonal supports.

In good condition, there are some light marks and small dents to the original lacquered finish in places from use, and a scratch mark to the top. A small veneer repair to the left hand side back corner, and to the face of the drop lid edge, which is only on view when opened. Please refer to the photographs.

A versatile piece of furniture that could also be used as a console or sideboard or dressing table.

Veneered in cherry wood with solid cherry wood legs. The unit is heavy. The legs can be unscrewed to remove if needed.

The drawers all work well and are clean on the insides. The desk lid also works well and is sturdy. There are no makers mark.

Desk in use: 90cm deep. Desk height: 70cm.
