Item Description
This pillow is made from a fragment of a vintage Dong hill tribe wedding blanket. The blanket was hand woven using hand spun yarn and dates to mid C20. The cotton ground is a pale grey and the pattern in supplementary floating weft, is a dark blue. I've added a vintage tasselled fringe in red and backed the pillow with another vintage hand loomed textile which is an attractive grey and blue plaid with pinstripes in white and red. The pillow is filled with Provencal lavender selected for its long lasting scent.
