Item Description
These cushions are made from a vintage Kermanshah jajim from west Persia. Jajims have a wonderful drape and were traditionally used in nomadic households to cover or store belongings. They were hand loomed on narrow looms and the panels sewn together to make a larger textile. This jajim is woven from coarse wool with a really lovely palette of natural colours and makes beautiful and robust cushions. The colours are various tones of pink and orange with an amazing citrine yellow. I've backed the cushions with a heavy natural coloured linen and there are zip fasteners and deluxe feather pads.
