Item Description
These cushions are made from a really beautiful vintage jajim from Yasukand, Iran. Jajims have a wonderful drape and were traditionally used in nomadic households to cover or store belongings. They were hand loomed on narrow looms and the panels sewn together to make a larger textile. This jajim is woven from coarse wool with a really lovely palette of natural colours in tones of rust and brown, and makes beautiful and robust cushions. I've backed the cushions with a heavy natural coloured linen and there are zip fasteners and deluxe feather pads.
