Item Description
An early 19th century English oak dresser base / serving table standing on four plain straight legs. The top to this substantial base is constructed from two long solid oak timbers with subtle wear and character consistent with its age and history. There are three deep drawers below with antiqued brass drop handles as replacements for the originals made especially for this piece. It has great country charm and has developed a gorgeous rich colour over the past two centuries and with its clean lines would blend perfectly within period or contemporary surroundings. Cleaned inside and out, polished and wood worm treated purely as a precautionary measure. Country base circa 1820.
