Item Description
A late 19th early 20th century French jardiniere. The impressive scale of this pretty jardiniere is such that could easily stand alone as a statement centre piece or would look equally stunning crammed with planting. The original green blue painted surface has worn a little over the past century but still plentiful. The bowl has two elaborate side handles. The front is decorated with a raised floral relief of daisies and roses entwining with leaves, the same design being repeated on the back. Raised upon a graceful oval stem supported on four small lion’s paw feet. Cast iron jardiniere in original paint. France circa 1900.
