A neat pair of French bedside commodes. Made circa 1920 these super commodes each consist of five useful drawers beneath black polished marble tops. The drawers are flanked on either side by cylindrical columns embellished with chased brass capitals to the tops and bases to each column. The walnut veneers are carefully book matched to create a stylish arched design. Superior quality and condition. The drawers have retained the original keys which fit and still operate the original working locks. An elegant pair of walnut bedside commodes, clean and ready for the home.
