Item Description
A late19th century French walnut dining table of superior proportions. This magnificent table can be used without leaves as a small circular drop leaf table to comfortably seat four but can also be extended to seat more with each leaf. There are three additional leaves extending the table to a spectacular 10 feet and could easily seat twelve / fourteen. The solid walnut oval top sits upon four walnut gun barrel legs with a fifth central leg for extra support when fully extended, all five legs terminating with the original heavy gauge solid brass castors. Beautifully seasoned walnut with a richly patinated surface. French walnut dining table circa 1890. Seats 4 to 14 people. Circular 120 x 120 x 77 high extends out to 307 cm long. Circular drop leaf 47 inches diameter 30.25 high. Extends to 121 inches (10 feet 1 inches) 25 inch knee space.
