So rare to find an English kneehole desk in solid Yew. This particular desk has a good scale surface consisting of only two wide yew wood timbers. Below are three quality oak lined drawers above two deep pedestal cupboards, the right hand cupboard when opened reveals twin Yew drawers with original brass swan neck handles. There have been some minor historical patch repairs carefully and affectionately applied over the past century and more only enhancing its charm and character. A unique solid Yew wood desk seasoned to the most delicious colour over the past century. Raised on low bun feet.
