ANTIQUE RUSTIC WOODEN CIRCULAR CRICKET TABLE
A handsome and stylish cricket table of slightly unusual form with an integral drawer in the apron and three tapered legs united by stretchers naturally worn over time by people’s feet.
Wonderfully rich honey colour and characterful pine.
Originating from the English/Welsh border and probably dating from the early to mid-19th century period.
It is in good vintage condition and still very usable. There is wear throughout, which adds to its character and tells its story. It has a rustic feel to it, yet feels sturdy and secure. There is a small amount of old, dead woodworm present, which has been treated for good measure.
Approximate measurements: 69.5cm high x 81cm diameter.
