ANTIQUE FOLK ART CARVED PHOTO FRAME
Typically notched hand-crafted tramp art picture frame of deep form.
Charming original black and white photograph depicting a crew of characterful sailors on a ship.
The frame is made from an old Fry’s Chocolate crate with the original advertising to the rear panel.
Dating from the late 19th/early 20th century. Circa 1880-1910 in date.
The frame is in good vintage order there is some minor wear commensurate with age including some minor losses but no serious issues, the glass is free from damage and the photographs are still clear.
Approximate measurements: 44cm wide x 40cm high x 5cm deep. The aperture measures approximately 25.5cm × 20.5 cm.
