LARGE HAND TURNED WOODEN BOWL
A chunky, simple and stylish silhouette which really shows off the natural burrs in this fabulous piece of oak which feels alive with character.
Hand turned from one single piece of burr oak.
Would work well as a fruit bowl, table centrepiece or as a decorative object in its own right
Signed on the base ‘B. L. Tanner’ and inscribed ‘BURR OAK’.
Probably dating from the mid 20th century period. Circa 1930s-1970s.
The bowl is in excellent vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and no serious issues.
Approximate measurements: 42cm diameter x 17cm high.
