Solid brass, bronze and gold plated charm bracelet featuring antique spinner watch fobs and handmade contemporary bronze charms on a solid brass chain and fastening.
This item was created for the 'Reborn & Adorn' collection.
This unique collection takes original antique pieces like these beautiful early to mid 20th century gold plated watch fob spinners and mixes them with modern handmade talismanic charms to create bold new statement pieces.
As the types of antique materials or metals used are not always certain of please be aware that these hardstones may be antique coloured glass set in a gold plated base metal.
The images of the horseshoe, four leaf clover, and fly are contemporary and handmade in solid bronze, but they all share an ancient symbolic history of 'good luck' and 'protection'.
Horseshoes are a favourite good luck charm often given as gifts and love tokens. The same goes for the four leaf clover - it was said if you found one good luck would surely follow.
The fly is less known, but for Roman soldiers and ancient Egyptians it was worn as a talisman into battle or as a protector of good health as the fly 'survives & thrives' even the most hostile environments. It is a symbol of victory!
All watch fob spinners are probably British made circa 1930's - 1950's
The bracelet and clasp are late 20th century /early 21st.
The solid bronze charms are modern and made by hand with the makers mark on the back.

Care & Cleaning:
Please treat plated jewellery with care, over cleaning and exposure to harsh chemicals, water, temperature etc will cause fading on gold plating - remember these charms are up to 100 years old, but with love and care will last long into the future. The brass and bronze can be polished as often as desired with a regular brass cleaner and lint free cloth. When not being worn store in a jewellery box or pouch.
Returns, Postage & Costs:
In the unusual event a refund is required on items from the Reborn & Adorn collection, it must be returned in the condition recieved within 14 days of delivery date via tracked and insured post at buyers expense.
