Item Description
A 19th-century Dutch Delft octagonal vase of striking double-gourd shape, converted to a table lamp. Decorated in deep blue and white in the Chinoiserie taste with figures seated by a bridge, surrounded by flowers, trees and rocks and elegant patterns. The upper section features oak leaves and scrolls, while the base and neck are adorned with stripes and geometric patterns. A refined table lamp with a bold shape, in excellent condition.
- Height to top of bulb holder: 37.5 cm
- Vase height: 29 cm
- Diameter: 13.5 cm
- Slight wear to the glaze on base and top edge, commensurate with age. Otherwise, very good condition.
