Item Description
An 18th-century Dutch Delft plate, decorated in the centre with a Chinoiserie landscape of oversized flowers along a lake, surrounded by foliage and enclosed in a patterned band. The lip features a vibrant frieze of floral patterns in green and red, finished with a band of dots. Dynamic brushwork in the frieze contrasts with the fine detail of the landscape, all rendered in lively polychrome colour.
An elegant Dutch Delft plate with lively patterns, unrestored and in very good condition.
