Item Description
A 19th-century Moroccan pottery pastilla dish from Fez, c. 1830, decorated with swirling leaves and flowers in the Saz style, in a vibrant palette of green, blue and yellow on a cream engobe. The lip carries a frieze of florals and stripes. Its elegant shallow form is raised on a piedouche, and a discreet hole at the back allows for easy wall hanging. Marked underneath from the Loviconi collection. A rare and textured piece, with vibrant patterns and an elegant shape, ideal for display on a wall.
