Item Description
A mid-18th-century French faience plate from Moustiers, decorated in the centre with a spray of flowers in an elegant camaieu of ochre. The blooms are loosely scattered and rendered with botanical interest, set against the fuller frieze of florals that runs abundantly around the lip. The edge is delicately shaped and finished with orange bands.
A refined floral plate in a restrained palette, unrestored and in very good condition.
- Diameter: 24.5 cm
- Height: 2.5 cm
- Slight wear to the edge, commensurate with age. Otherwise very good condition.
