This pair of 19th-century French bronze sconces features a bevelled mirror plate framed by lush scrolls of foliage and grape motifs in the Louis XIII style. The top of the mirror is adorned with a shield, topped by putti holding a classical urn, while the lower section is balanced by elegant acanthus leaves. Three arms extend from the mirror, each finished with a candle holder.
