A Large and Elegant Victorian Cast Iron Hall Stand, circa 1880
A good example of late-Victorian cast iron umbrella stand. This cast iron umbrella and walking stick stand boasts exceptional pierced detailing, showcasing crisp floral, foliage, and scroll motifs. The upper arched frame is flanked by twin finials, supported by decorative uprights that taper down to a distinctive D-shaped base. Crucially, the piece retains its two original, removable drip pans.
This antique umbrella stand came to us in good condition, it has been very well looked after over the years. Strikingly finished in black, its versatile aesthetic allows it to blend seamlessly into contemporary minimalist settings or enrich a traditional decorative scheme.
