P0225 This exceptionally handsome Arts and Crafts oak hall bench, circa 1900, offers an elegant, space-saving solution for a contemporary or traditional entryway or mudroom. Crafted from solidly structured oak with a rich, warm grain, the bench features a beautifully contoured, shaped back rail and a distinctive round central seat. Flanking the seat are two integrated stick or umbrella compartments, each retaining its original, removable metal drip tray, a rare survival for a piece of this age. The bench is raised on clean, linear uprights that embody the honest craftsmanship of the Arts & Crafts movement.
Structurally sound, the piece has been thoroughly inspected and is entirely solid, sturdy, and wobble-free.
It has been gently cleaned and waxed retaining antique character, arriving in home-ready condition for immediate placement in a classic or contemporary interior. c1900
