K0625 English antique solid oak open bookcase, having oversailing top with an attractive grain and moulded edge above one fixed and two height adjustable shelves with reeded edges, all standing on deep plinth base with moulded edge. This antique bookcase has been sympathetically restored, it retains its original finish (with some French polish work to the top) which has been cleaned, revived and waxed, original patina, soft and mellow colour. Being over 100 years old the bookcase is showing minor signs of usage commensurate with age which adds to its antique charm. c1880
