Item Description

p0316 A superb quality, antique George IV mahogany bedside cabinet, circa 1830, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and a highly desirable, richly figured grain. This elegant nightstand features a refined three-quarter gallery top above a beautifully figured cupboard door, complete with its original turned knob. Designed for maximum versatility, it boasts finished, polished mahogany sides and a fully polished back, allowing it to serve as a sophisticated free-standing piece anywhere in a room. The cabinet is raised on finely turned and reeded tapered legs that epitomise the grace of the late Regency and George IV eras.
The bedside cabinet retains its original finish which has been cleaned and waxed, original colour, good patina and antique character, all in home ready condition. c1830
