19th Century Italian Carved Walnut Table. A richly expressive early 19th century Italian table showcasing exuberant hand-carved detailing and superb craftsmanship. The scrolling lyre-style legs, pierced feet, intricate stretcher, and deep walnut patina give a remarkable sculptural presence. The single plank top has a wonderful patina. Both functional & beautiful. Its size lends itself as a writing table, small dining table or large console. Elegant from every angle this piece is a superb statement of Italian artist tradition. Italy, Circa 1840.
