Early 20th century papier Mache carnival mask of a German soldier

An early example of a French carnival mask in the form of a German soldier. With hand crafted detail included painted surface and fabric moustache. With removable helmet and support inner sections with cotton straps. There are a number of mesh air vents to the top and sides of this mask also.

Condition: Aged

A worn and well used object with faded areas of loss. The paint is faded and missing in sections as shown, the papier Mache is also weathered and worn in areas. This is an old object so please expect this in the condition of this item, however the item is solid and in one piece.
