Huge Early 20th Century Lantern

Made from cast metal this monster of a light measures 30inches tall. With its original hanging hook still in place. Likely to have been a bracketed as an outdoor streetlight at one point, now converted and rewired for modern day use. The Glass sections have been replaced as has some metal repair work across its bottom section frame. It weights close to 20kg and would need to be professionally support hung due to its weight and size.

In good condition without loss or breaks. This light has been updated with repairs to its metal frame and has new inserted glass panels throughout. The top sections show 2 brackets that have been cut where it likely would have had a support hanging section outdoors. This light has been fitted to a UK 240v power source with flex wire. The chain which it is photographed with is not included in the sale.
