Mid 20th Century Maison Jansen oxidised mirrored side table
A classy and understated example of exceptional quality, the frame is raised on finely reeded legs united by an unusually formed lower cross-stretcher and supports its original églomisé mirrored-glass top. The top is framed by a reeded brass edge, while both the stretcher and top are finished with crisply cast floral finials.
A handsome and extremely well-made piece, distinguished by its wonderful proportions and subtle, beautifully considered detailing.
