A Handsome 1920s–30s Spanish Leather-Clad Wardrobe with Stud Detailing
A superb Spanish wardrobe dating from the 1920s–30s, beautifully clad in warm cognac leather and finished with an impressive pattern of close-set brass studs. The piece has wonderful presence, its colour rich and even, and the leather exceptionally well preserved.
The doors are centred by a large, ornate brass escutcheon—an eye-catching feature in itself—complete with its original working lock and key. Inside, the cabinet offers excellent storage: an upper clothes rail fitted with sliding hooks, additional fixed hooks on the back and sides, and a shoe rail at the base.
Handsome, practical, and full of character, this wardrobe is ideal for a bedroom, boot room, or as a statement hallway cupboard.
