A rare pair of Danish Art Deco armchairs of generous proportions, retaining their original scallop-form backs and sculptural show wood frames.
The chairs have been professionally reupholstered in 100% Italian virgin Sherpa wool, offering a refined texture and exceptional comfort. The wide seats are gently inclined, providing supportive and relaxed seating.
The solid oak frames have been carefully stripped back to their natural tone and hand-oiled, enhancing the depth, warmth, and natural character of the timber grain. The serpentine-form arms and front uprights feature carved detailing at the hand-rests, demonstrating fine period craftsmanship. The chairs stand on circular, flat bun feet with fluted decoration, consistent with the Art Deco aesthetic.
A distinctive and uncommon model, combining strong architectural presence with practical comfort. Suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.
Condition: Fully restored and newly upholstered. The frames have been professionally refinished. Presented in excellent condition.
