Item Description
A tall set of late 19th century Art Nouveau style wrought iron gates. These superb gates were originally a pair of panels and have been fitted with modern hinges and latch to create a stunning set of pedestrian gates.
Standing at over 2m tall and crafted with closely knit vertical bars, these wrought iron gates provide excellent security for a passageway alongside a house or a narrow entrance to a walled courtyard. Beautifully made, each gate features a matching Art Nouveau inspired design to the top, base and centre, crafted at the hand of a talented 19th century blacksmith.
Fits an opening of approximately: 105 cm
CONDITION REPORT
Good structural condition. Fitted with modern hinges - all hinge components supplied. Fitted with a modern latch. Old flaky paint and surface rust in places.
