Overview

A beautifully decorative Italian serpentine‑shaped cabinet dating from around 1920, raised on wonderfully sculptural mythical‑beast feet. The piece is richly carved, with detailed work around the top moulding and elegant motifs across the doors. Later painted in a soft distressed white, it has a gentle, time‑worn look that enhances its curves and carvings, while the hand‑painted distressed marble top adds depth and sophistication.

The two cupboard doors open to reveal sliding internal shelves, painted in a distressed blue‑green — a lovely contrast that adds charm and character. The doors are further detailed with a grey painted coach line, giving the whole piece a refined, tailored finish.
