A Howard & Sons Bridgewater armchair. This shapley chair having a sprung seat with Sierge de Duvet and a sprung back. Retaining the original feather and down seat cushion and raised on fabulous ringturned walnut legs with the original stamped gilt lacquered brass castors, stamped "Howard & Sons Ltd, Berners St" to the back leg. Retaining all the original horsehair and feather, re-covered in our Howard & Sons ticking. English, Circa 1900.
