Elegant Scottish Cockpen armchair with pierced latticework back, possibly by Whytock & Reid, Edinburgh.
The frame later painted off white with a canework seat.
Good period condition with signs of use commensurate for age.
To note: wear to the painted woodwork on close inspection.
