Antique prints, screenprints and engravings.
Printing started with wood blocks that were hand carved with text, images or patterns and originated in East Asia.
Screen printing also started life in Asia, specifically in China and wasn't introduced into Europe until the 18th Century and even then it had to wait for silk mesh to become more widely available.
Engraving has been around for many centuries and is a term used for incising onto different materials, such as metal, wood, leather etc. It has a great history but was eventually taken over by printing.
