This is an antique morning room book cabinet. An English, walnut and burr walnut mirror front bookcase, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

A pair of oval glazed doors host superb bevelled mirror plates

Attractive brass mounts with gilt hues adorn the fascia

Dressed with an ormolu lock escutcheon upon the right hand door — in working order, key present
Left-hand door closes with a pair of internal brass sliding clasps
Pair of removable shelves, the tallest capable of hosting larger volumes at a height of 28.5cm
Standing upon a shaped plinth foot and finished with a fully panelled rear fascia for added appeal
