1950s atomic coat stand by Roger Feraud

MOUNTAIN COW
Fabulous piece of 1950s design from the atomic age, the design is called 'cle de sol '. In good vintage condition, the metal bar has a few small kinks where it has been bent and straightened in a few places and is not absolutely true, but this does not detract from the impact of this fun statement piece.

Michael Roberts has been an antique dealer for longer than he cares to remember, for many years specialising in fine architectural items for which he was well renowned, with a vast knowledge on the subject and an unfailing eye.

Nowadays, there is no grand plan, Mike only buys what interests him and he lives happily in France with his family in the beautiful French Alps.

When not scouring the brocantes for his next favourite object, Mike is following his other great passion painting, hence the name Mountain Cow, as you can see what he loves to capture on canvas.

If you would like further pictures of any item, please contact Mike using the email form opposite. Clients are always welcome to visit his beautiful part of the world and view his items, but by appointment only please.  Mike understands it may be a long way to travel for some clients, and he has prepared in advance a lovely guest apartment on the lakefront in Annecy (furnished with some of his stock).  Now there's an offer you can't refuse, beautiful, interesting pieces, in a stunning location with great food, wine and company on tap.  Mike can also tell you exactly where to visit of course.
