Item Description
A Superb Regency Rosewood Writing Table. This fine piece of English furniture is raised on turned and reeded legs with original brass castors and recessed panels at the top. There are three mahogany lined frieze drawers with dummies to the reverse, all with original brass knobs and working locks. The top has a banded edge an under-molding and a black, hand dyed leather inset writing surface with gilt and blind tooling. In excellent condition with a great colour. 750mm high, 1450mm wide and 750mm deep. English. Circa 1815.
