Item Description
Elegant French walnut gueridon table, finely crafted in the Louis XVI style. It features a richly veined marble top set within a raised pierced brass gallery. The apron is adorned with decorative gilt-bronze mounts and a central drawer. The slender, tapered legs are accented with fluted detailing and terminate with brass sabots, terminating in small ball feet. A lower tier with brass surround provides additional display space.
This elegant gueridon is perfectly scaled for use as a side or lamp table or accent piece. In the Faubourg St Antoine Paris style and quality. Late 19th / early 20th century.The key provided is for use as a handle and not for locking.
