A charming pair of Mid-Century Italian bamboo and cane side tables dating from the 1970s.
Each table features a two-tier form with woven cane inset shelves and decorative looped bamboo fretwork to the gallery and lower stretcher. The warm honey-toned bamboo frame is accented with hand-bound rattan joints, giving the pieces a relaxed Mediterranean character typical of mid-century Italian coastal design.
Elegant and practical, these versatile tables work equally well as bedside tables, sofa end tables, lamp or occasional stands.
Nicely proportioned with a light sculptural presence. There are two pairs available.
