A stunning cut glass pendant light with silver plated gallery. c.1910
A beautifully designed early 20th‑century pendant featuring a teardrop‑shaped shade of cut and frosted glass, giving a soft, refined glow when lit. The shade is held within a delicately cast brass gallery of open form, retaining its original oxidised silver plating - a finish with exceptional depth of colour and a wonderfully mellow patina. The proportions are elegant and well balanced, with crisp detailing throughout.
A particularly attractive example of Edwardian decorative lighting, combining fine glasswork with a rare surviving silvered gallery.
Rewired with black twisted flex.
