The Ashby Lighting showroom in Melbourne, South Derbyshire displays a unique blend of hand-picked antique lighting and our exclusive Ashby range of luxury Art Nouveau inspired lighting, which we are proud to say is hand made in England. Established in 2014 by husband and wife team Martin and Rachel, we rapidly gained a reputation for having a vast range of restored antique lighting with key pieces from the Arts and Crafts era.

All our lighting is restored by us to the highest standard. We provide a choice of metal finishes and cable colours to personalise each piece individually. Our lighting design service works hand in hand with customers. We offer friendly advice on projects and help supply the perfect lighting solution which is so often the crowning glory to a room. From our workshop, we manufacture our hand-made Ashby range inspired by early 20th century design greats such as Voysey and WAS Benson.

Each light is a unique work of art combining highly polished copper and brass. We know that our customers demand attention to every detail such as screws, hooks, ceiling plates and cable. The finished copper gallery is then perfectly matched to a vaseline glass shade from our extensive range. Customers can select from antique or hand-blown pieces created by our artisan glass blower. The end result will be a truly bespoke light fitting tailored especially for you.
