Item Description
Oak Gordon Russell Stool C1930
This one from Gordon Russell dates from around the 1930s and was used as either a little seat for a dressing table or as a footstool. It is of simple form with well sized English oak legs and a curved seat making it a little more comfortable to sit on or plonk one's feet on.
The stool sits in good historical order with age marks and is upholstered in a muted pale yellow moire silk fabric. If you wish for new upholstery including leather our upholsterer would charge £75 plus VAT and you would require ½ metre of fabric. No makers label but we have images of the stool from the archives of Gordon Russell.
A delightful little oak stool.
