Pair Signed Decorative Small 1930's Peoples Republic Chinese Goodluck Home Garden Bat Planters.
Beatifully hand cast made from lead with pretty ornate brass top & side fixture panels attached. Featuring decorative embossed bats on the top along with fruit trees and birds around the sides & also signed by the maker underneath also with the Hong Kong stamp on each to the base.
Make your garden or home windowsill stand out with this traditional impressive window planters.
In the highly sought after Chinese traditional design in hexagonal shape form.
Perfect to grow your plants, flowers in.
A nice cute small size being 16.5 cm wide also 7.3 cm high.
Bats represent good luck because the word in Mandarin that means 'bat' 蝙蝠 has the same sound as the word that means 'fortune' 福.
Circa early 20th century.
