Item Description
Late 19th.c. French faux bamboo wardrobe c.1890. Single door wardrobe with a full length dressing mirror to the door. Fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 14"), and with a single drawer in the base. In pine with extensive applied beechwood decoration, turned and carved to resemble bamboo. Crossed pediment flanked with crisply turned finials over a decorative frieze. Bamboo style column pilasters to the front corners continuing to the feet. Bamboo style mouldings around the mirror and the door, continued on the wardrobe sides, the drawer front and even on the internal shelf fronts. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
Please note this wardrobe must be secured to the wall when in use.
