Item Description
Anglo-Indian carved rosewood side table probably produced in the Kashmiri city of Shrinigar c.1920. A little larger than many such tables with a 27" diameter octagonal top carved with a dense pattern of Chinar leaves and berries (symbol of Kashmir) with a carved and moulded edge. The carving is repeated in the beautiful pierced panels which form the base, set within a carved frame. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
