Item Description
A late Regency tilt-top wine table, the circular top with a neatly raised dished edge, supported on a turned beech column and mahogany tripod base with small turned bun feet.
Elegant and practical in scale, ideal as an occasional table beside an armchair, sofa or reading spot, retaining the lightness and poise characteristic of the era.
Very good antique condition with a well-developed patina and minor surface wear consistent with age. The tilt mechanism operates smoothly and the brass catch is a later 19th-century replacement. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place.
English, circa 1830.
