Item Description

Circa 1820. A quality mahogany George IV dining table, the two rectangular ends with rounded corners and reeded fore-edge, with two additional original leaves, the frieze with a small framed panel on each end, with ebony inlay to the sides and the base, each of the ends resting on four classic ‘Gillows’ style turned and fluted tapering legs. The inside pair of legs of each end are hinged and swing out to support the additional leaves if required, all with great colour and patination. 73cm High, 136cm when closed, 243cm with both leaves added
