Antique desk or work lamp marked "Supreme" ADAPT-O-LITE to the central riser mechanism. English approx 30s.
An excellent, fully adjustable table or work lamp and hard to find.One of two similar lamps i currently have for sale.
Made from chromed brass with a spun aluminium shade and a cast iron weighted base.The height adjusts by a clever friction mechanism that moves up and down the central stem.The angle of the arm adjusts and the shade is also adjustable,being attached to the arm with a ball and socket joint.
The lamp has been completely dis-assembled, cleaned, polished,rebuilt and rewired with 3 meters (exposed) light grey/white fabric flex and a hard plastic white plug.The heavy duty lampholder is new.
